A site with a past and a future.

Development

From industrial site to centre of innovation

People have been working, manufacturing and thinking ahead here since 1873. What began as a needle factory, and for decades produced press studs, rivets and hair grips for the entire GDR as VEB Kombinat Solidor, has been transformed since 2009 into a place for ideas, businesses and encounters.

Graefenhahn helped shape this transformation – and today continues to develop the OWYO Campus with the same eye for precision and foresight that defined the people who once worked here.
